After the South Carolina game, McElroy said he has never lost before, and how he hates the way it feels to loose, so he will never lose again.

What did you expect him to say? "I think I'll lose three or four more." If you don't have confidence you can't succeed at that level and will certainly fail.
Perhaps you are confused about the meanings of arrogance & confidence.

I saw the clip of him talking outside of the locker room. He called out the rest of his teammates questioning if they had the intensity that he had. I was like, damn, he's lucky he wears the green jersey in practice.

In all fairness to McElroy, he did not lose the game to LSU. Their offensive line and defense lost the game. A lot of credit goes to Miles and company for being well prepared and for out coaching Saban and company.

So to be fair you should say he never WON a game either, right?

You need a certain amount of arrogance to lead. You also need to back it up. He's a smart kid and he seems pretty humble to me. He just wasn't expecting yesterday. Who really was. I knew we were going to win, but seeing the offense execute like that in the 2nd Half even took me off guard(with joy).

He was very instrumental in beating Auburn last year--see the final 4th quarter drive and the TD pass. See also the SECCG last year where he was voted MVP need more proof?

McElroy's a good guy. He got a lot of shite from Alabama fans for giving LSU so much credit. I have more respect for him after hearing this

quote:

“LSU on the road—there’s no better atmosphere in college football. That’s my favorite stadium,” McElroy gushed while serving as a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux. “I just love it down there.

“Most people would agree that Tiger Stadium is the best,” McElroy continued. “It’s crazy. It’s rowdy. The fans are into it. All the little cheers where they throw their hands up … all that stuff is so cool. Their band is awesome and it’s just such a fun experience to go play there.”

He has only lost twice since he was born, or something like that. But I think he has more losses on the way.

I think he is a very good quarterback. Just ridiculous that he said he won't ever lose again because he doesn't like the way it feels.

Didn't really work for tebag either. Wasn't he crying (again) like a little bitch in the last game he lost?
