"OH My, Did you See that"......the question is Verne did you see that.....because when the ball flies out of bounds, it is incomplete.....not "oh now they are calling it incomplete" It was pretty much incomplete from the split second he missed the ball....just sayin....

All of the announcers suck. They get too caught up in saying the crap they gotta say and don't watch the game.

One could be going into a spiel about some player's drunk momma in 3rd grade while some dude runs out onto the field with an Uzi and blows everyone away. They continue with their stupid story and ignore everything that happens otherwise.

Pay attention to the game dumbasses and put the damn stories on hold!

GD is by far the best in the business. I think the problem yesterday was they had a poor view or something. I too thought it was weird on that fumble out of bounds. Obviously, they just couldn't see it or something.

If LSU is trailing or the opponent is driving to take the lead, do not try Voice of the Tigers. Listed to TV.

When LSU is winning though, JH is upbeat and is restrained with his color comments. Listen to tiger radio when they are winning. If not, TV.

For the record, I like Danielson. I think he is a knowledgeable college sports guy, and I like that he has called SEC games for so long. He has a collection of personal knowledge about these teams going back many years, and he incorporates that into the current game he is watching, just like a true fan does.

Now Verne, he's mostly just lost a step from getting up in age. I agree that he comes into a game with some preconceived storyline, or script if you will, and he doesn't like deviating from it. He's always picking the big stars before a game starts, and he rides them like Daniel Radcliff in Equus
His man-boy love affair with Tim Tebow was borderline obscene.

Based on yesterday's game, I can't see any LSU fan having a problem with Danielson and Verne.

They stroked Julio but went out of their way to compliment Peterson as well.

And Nevis was pretty much "their boy" for the entire game. That short conversation with Nevis went a looooooong way to get his name out there. Drake played a great game, but they pretty much adopted him as their player of the day.

1. Franklin
2. Blackledge
3. Nessler/Danielson

The think i cant stand about Verne is when he develops a man crush on some player and starts calling him by his first name half way through the game. Mushmouthberger and Herbie do the same thing....i pray they dont call LSUs bowl game

I have nothing but respect for Danielson. The guy knows football. Verne just kind of reminds me of a creepy old man, trying to lure children into his basement with ice cream. I hate hearing Danielson's voice though, because that means we're playing a day game on CBS.

Btw, a neat trick to use: instead of muting them, if you have a surround sound system, just unplug the center speaker.

You hear everything else but the announcers.

We need someone to take Julios catch towards the end of the game and compare it to Danielson's call of Randle's 75 yard pass.

Non-bias my nuts.

Look, I know alot of people say that shite is all in people's heads, but I can't be the only one that notice Randle's TD call. I seriously thought Danielson was pissed about it.

Was at the game so I recorded it to watch when I got home. FIrst thing I wanted to check out was the Richardson TD replay-could have gone either was but b/c it was called a TD on the field, I don't think there was evidence to overturn it. And I wanted to check out the "situation" of the ref standing over the ball & moving w/ only 5 seconds left. Well, the tv didn't catch the ref standing there, the shot started w/ Lee moving under center, looking at the clock, then turning to the sidelines. Danielson & Verne basically RIPPED Coach Miles on his time management & went on about "no excuse" blah blah blah....Apparently they weren't watching the field prior to the penalty. Later in the broadcast, they did go back to say that Coach Miles "was complaining that the ref didn't move". That penalty had the crowd in a frenzy. And it could have cost LSU a win. Remember, after the penalty, LSU attempted a 45-ish yrd FG & missed. Had we had the 5 yrds back from the penalty, who's to say that Jasper doesn't make the kick? That 5 yrds could have made the difference between bumma needing a FG to tie or having to go for the TD. Thankfully it didn't play into the decision but I didn't appreciate Danielson & Verne ripping Coach Miles for something that he had NO control over-typical media!
