Did the movie tie up Firefly well enough for you? Obviously, we would want more Firefly, etc., but did you enjoy the movie?

I still need to finish off the season. Definitely an underrated show.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, of course more firefly would have been nice but Serenity managed to tie up some loose ends and provide good entertainment.

I liked how they pretty much suggested that the Operative was going to be like Sheppard Book. I wish we could have gotten more involved with Book's story.

Yes.

I thought the movie did a great job of ending the show.

It actually really pissed me off because extending the show with that overarching plot for additional 2-3 seasons would have been great.

Very much so. I especially enjoyed seeing River (Summer Glau) finally cutting loose.

I was still a little peeved about the show being cancelled, but I thought the movie was excellent.

Agreed. There was entirely too much for them to tie up in one movie, but, they did a good job of tying up what they could.

I liked the show, but in all honesty I can see why it was canceled.

Doesn't seem like it was appeal to a wide range of people, and to be honest it didn't seem like it was extremely well done.

If you just joined in and saw some of the graphics or sets you would probably not think to highly of it.

This is in no way meant to bash the show, because I enjoyed it and watched the entire season and the movie. It just didn't seem like a top notch production to me.

The production was fantastic. I think it would have found its audience if Fox hadn't have moved around airings like it did with AD, Futurama, and FG early in their runs. Plus they aired the episodes out of order.

The show flew under my radar, as it did for most people. I think it was just broadcast on the wrong network and didn't get much exposure. I'd definitely have watched it if I'd known much about it back when it aired. The movie tied it all up nicely, but obviously, it would be difficult to resurrect the series.

They could do a prequel on the browncoats and that war.
