If you are under 50, you should have no opinion of LSU football

because you didn't live through the 40's through 90's.

Only 51 and over shall have opinions and shall be experts because of their wealth of knowledge of really bad football.

remember, kids should not be spewing hatred on this board.

only grandfathers and non-kids should be voicing their opinions.

I hear ya. I am 49 and did live through some lean years. 80s were up and down. I remember when Joe Dean became AD thinking he will get things done..... Wrong.
The 90s were just stupid for football. Great in the early 90s for basketball though.

I have been a LSU fan for 30 years but I am not yet 50. I don't claim to be an expert though. For many years we were happy to just win a bowl game.

It's not that you should have no opinion its that you are somewhat spoiled if you didn't at least see the Tigers during the the Dinardo years and better yet an appreciation of football under curley would really balance your viewpoint.

in a way, early/mid 90's football was good for tailgating. park anywhere, get there anytime of the day, and no worries about post-game traffic.

wasn't there a book a while back titled "i learned all i needed to know in kindergarten" or something like that. if that is true, then 6 yr olds should be given an opinion also.

Saying someone is "spoiled" is always going to carry negative connotations. You can't expect to have an actual discussion on anything if you start off calling people names.

By the way , the 60's , 70's, 80's could hardly be called "really bad football". It was great football, although not frequently elite football.

And of course it was all those old geezers who established all the traditions that you four foot two football fans now treasure.

Now get back in you Honda and bring your sister/cousin over here for me like a good Egg.

Agreed, all these kids want their flashy rims on their cars, once we turn 50, we will just accept what we have.

LSU handed Bama,Bear, and Walter Lewis a pretty good arse kicking Bear's final season(82) in B'ham.LSU has been my 2nd favorite team since.I was there by the way.Walter spent most of the afternoon on his back.
