Starting senior safety Aairon Savage is definitely out with a severe ankle injury suffered Saturday against Arkansas and sophomore cornerback T’Sharvan Bell, part of what has been a three-man rotation at cornerback, is listed as “day-to-day” after also suffering an ankle injury against the Razorbacks.

Just gotta hope Les says "frick it, let those pictures of me get out to the public" and he plays Lee extensively.

Doesn't matter. They could play with no secondary and win as long as Miles keeps the current QB rotation.

What's the deal with LSU being so lucky this year regarding the timing of their opponents injuries?

Auburn d is terrible! I would rather see the ones who are making it bad continue to start.

Dang, Chizik souds almost Milesian in some of his quotes:

quote:

You note the positives, which there were some. You note the negatives, which there were many, and proceed to move on,” Chizik said of the Tigers’ play in Saturday’s 65-43 victory over Arkansas. “You don’t belabor any of the points. They know what they did well. They know what they didn’t do well. So you just move on to the next week.”

quote:

“He loves football, and you can see by the way he plays on special teams, his kickoff coverage and his knack for getting free and kind of sifting through all of the blocks and garbage in there,” Chizik said. “The ability to make plays on that, you can see his knack for the game. All the special teams work he’s gotten certainly helps him.”

In case you guys are wondering, we will likely be starting a walk-on sophmore in place of Savage.

LSU lost their starting left guard for the year against UNC and their best past rusher for the year against UT so I think AU gets the better of that trade.

I see it as a predetermined excuse for the media to use when LSU wins. Will just be a case of LSU getting lucky against a team that is struggling with injuries and not playing with all of its starters.

injuries are hitting LSU hard too.

Ridleys ankle is a very real concern along with Randles broken finger.

I would have sat both of them for McNeese.

Ridley was heavily taped and tweaked it again. Glad to see Ford get some carries as we are going to need him for Auburn.

his leg was twisted, and I thought, this is it: they wont stand a chance to beat ARK, but he was back on the field without missing a beat.
