Sure. Don't bother scheduling the best FCS program in the state. What a maroon. Besides, Verge has already said if SU or Grambling gets their acts together they could get on the schedule in the future. McNeese is down this year but has won 10 Southland Conf. titles in the past 19 seasons and finished national runnerup twice. They deserve the first in-state FCS shot IMO.

Although I do think that a game between LSU and Southern would be a BIGGER game than the one today, I don't think that Southern is competitive enough to warrant the first shot. McNeese is deserving of getting their payday first. Now if this were Southern back in '03, I'd think differently. But, looking at the state of their program today, they need more time to become competitive on the FCS level.

He just wants LSU to play a black school so he can make jokes about it. When SU or GSU got killed he'd talk about it for months on his crappy show.
