If CP3 and West stay healthy they will surprise people.

+ Okafor can hit FTs now and is better integrated
+ Belinelli is WAY more useful than MoPete
+ Ariza >>>> Posey and allows Peja to come off the bench and stay healthy
Smith = Songaila if he's not better than Songaila

And don't believe anyone that tells you you need 50 wins to make the playoffs in the West. The conference isn't as top heavy and the bottom teams have improved. The win totals will not be as lopsided this year.

If I'm given that bet at even money, I'd put a nice chunk of change on the over.

If CP3 is healthy all year, I'd be very confident that they go over. Very confident.

I'll take the over.

The starting five is improved over last year. Significantly so, IMO.

Bench is a work in progress, but think back to last year. That bench didn't set the world on fire. In the end, I think the bench will contribute more than it did last season.

This team has a ways to go to be a contender, but, barring extraordinary injuries, it should improve last year's record substantially.
