Kendrick Smith from patterson played for a CC (not sure where) and then played for Southern a few years.

I know a lot of the baseball talent ended up at ULL. A couple guys from CCMC we used to play every year were damn good and had good careers at ULL. Bailey and Gros.

We beat Brown's team in the playoffs my Sr year. Strong and quick guard. Good game.

Dave Johnson was another MC basketball player who was just a little older. He had some springs.

I was on that STM team in '89. That was a really big win for us because y'all had so much quickness. We wound up losing to Ferriday (S. Griggs) in the semis.

Is this about Morgan City or Patterson? People keep mentioning Patterson kids, as there have been several potential D1 from there. Morgan City....not so much

Thanks man -- we all grew up / went to summer b-ball camps, etc. together, so we had a pretty good "team" by then. And, 20 years later, we still get together and play at Red's from time to time. Thank goodness it's a short court!

I played for Gueydan my four yrs from 98-01 CC had 4 of the best athletes I have ever played against. In 98 there was Willie sheppard an Curtis Randle both where All Americans they went to LA Tech, lsu wanted them both but there grades where not that good. The others where Clint Brown str8 thug, the last one was Watson dude was fast he would always catch me from behind. I beat him in the 200 my SR yr his soph but he pulled up lame, he hurt his ankle I told him it does not matter I still beat him. Lol
