Even for me who dislikes Miles, a lot of that is jealousy. He has owned Spurrier.

No "wow" ... totally tongue-in-cheek article, but frankly not worth the ink used to print it. Destined for birdcage liner (as most sports columns are.)

Not so bad. It is actually akin to that "Our idiot just beat your genius" stuff.
It is kind of a backhand at the perception. It is saying "If Miles is so dumb, why does he keep beating you smart coaches?"

Les Miles out coached Jim Tressel...he still has a job and is doing fine. He out coached Charlie Wies, he is worthless, but he still lasted 3 more years. He out coached Frank Beamer he is still employeed. He owned Bob Stoops when he was coaching at OSU, and Stoop is moving along just fine. If he is so dumb that he ruins SEC coaches careers when he beats them then why doesn't it work out of conference? It is because this article is worthless, makes no sense, and I fail to see a connection between these coaches losing to Miles then eventually losing their job. Maybe you should find a new job Scarbinsky you are truely worthless and possibly more of a dumb arse then the man you are criticizing

Ray Ray, agree with all of the above. LSU from top to bottom better then all those teams. Still doesn't make the guys article make sense

Just because you win a game doesnt mean he out coached them, hell we beat tenn but do you think we out coached them or just had more talent?

it's not really a cut down, IMO. it's an article on MadCap Miles. What he does works for him. NOt for anyone else.
there has never been anyone like Miles
there's a big compliment in there - when you can beat miles - you can win championships!
loved the line about meyer playing a guard at center and a pocket passer running the read option, and concluding only miles can get by with that!

Ray Ray Rodman... of course one of the main reasons he won was bc of talent! thats what this sport is all about... my team has more tallent then the teams i play = my team wins most of those games... hahaha your argument really made me laugh

Very true, but all the teams I said he out coached we killed, with exeption to OK State wins over OU. The way LSU beat Ohio State, VaTech, and ND there is no doubt, even with superior talent, that Miles had a good game plan and had the team prepared.

Why doesn't he point out the OOC records of all these great coaches that Miles is bringing down compared to Miles' record out of conference?
