Could the team burst be tired at the end of games. The same 5 played the whole second half.

Lack of passing to tight ends on 1st and 2nd down will continue to cause problems. We need to be more creative on offense. on 1st and 2nd down.
Really based on that logic we should have found Helen Keller many years ago. I don't recall all these automatic top 10 teams we had in the past.
He said LSU officials confirmed to him that the three players failed a drug test for synthetic weed. He said it is a growing epidemic at LSU and around the country.

Herbstreet picked LSU sarcastically. Notice he said there was a hidden agenda.

amazing

Seems like lsu is the only fanbase clamoring for a qb shakeup with a team in the top 15 and a sophmore qb with a positive interception ratio and a back up who when given a chance was turnover prone. I wonder why thats is. It makes me go hmmmm.

Jefferson has not played well, but he hasn't been awful. I don't know what message you claim Saban sent but McElroy was 10 for 20 with 2 picks. We just don't have a running game that can have a 200+ rusher.
The fact is Lee is not Stafford. Stafford was a 5 star prospect who Mel Kiper said then would be a first round draft pick. He is not in his class. Truth be told though Stafford's college career was weak compared to Shockley and David Greene.

I watched it he didn't even see the guy coming. Just a good throw.

I don't remember the Ole Miss pass. The one against Auburn he turned away from the hit and blindly threw it down the field. It looked lucky maybe he is just good a no look throws. But he turned away from the hit and made a nice flick and Mitchell ran down the pass.

I understand that reasoning. Its just a slippery slope to trouble. If Lee plays well do you bench Jefferson? Then what if the next game he plays poorly do then pull Lee and go back to Jefferson. If you are going to have two qb's it needs to be a predetermined rotation no one where they have to worry if they make a mistake the will get yanked. Its bad for them and it divides the team.
Watch the game he does. He also sometimes holds it and trys to tuck and run away. But if he see an open reciever he has delivered and taken the hit in the chest. He never leans back and throw blindly to the middle of the field. I don't want to sound like I think he has been good. But you don't bench a 5 and 1 quarterback with a interception ratio of 7 to 3 hoping the backup may do better. Its about wins and loses. We could average 400+ yards a game and be 5 and 2 like auburn. If he can't get it done against Auburn times up. Let Lee warm up against Tech to be ready for Bama. Also if we can't run against Auburn than there is no hope.

My take on Jefferson and Lee.

I believe Jefferson deserves to have one last chance against Auburn to prove he can take it too the next level. If not go to Lee. My concern with Lee is not about the pick 6's. It is about the look of fear he had in his eyes. I watched him all season he just seemed scared. Not scared to make a mistake but scared to get hit. Thats why he didn't get sacked much and threw off his back foot. Maybe he has overcome his fear, but a team will not follow a leader who seems afraid to get hit. Jefferson may be afraid to make a mistake which he needs to overcome but he is not afraid to take a hit. I think his teamates respect him more for that. Just my opinion.

Jamarcuss Russell

q: Last night I'm looking over the final stats from Favre-a-palooza and I notice that Sidney Rice went 0-1 with zero yards passing, but had a QB rating of 39.6. JaMarcus Russell's QB rating for the year is 42.4!!!! Do you find this as hilarious and embarrassing as I do? A WR that throws one pass that goes for an incompletion almost has a higher QB rating than the Raiders' starting quarterback and the No. 1 overall pick three years ago.
-- Jason, New Port Richey, Fla.

Q: FYI, while playing beer pong, if you throw it too far and completely miss the table, it is now called a "JaMarcus Russell."
-- John, Fairfax, Wash.

Q: As JaMarcus Russell's QB rating draws closer and closer to 0.0, shouldn't statisticians change the QB rating system just for him? I was thinking it would go something like this: Once a quarterback's rating drops below zero, he enters "the Russell zone". This rating is based on stats such as yards off target per pass, attempts to the wrong team and number of broken jaws in coaching staff.
-- Bryan, Manhattan

SG: As you can tell, we had a three-way tie for the "JaMarcus Russell Historically Sucks" E-Mail of the Week. By the way, the "historically (blank)" trend has become one of my favorite media trends this year, and I'd like to think I played a small role in it. It's a subtle but effective way to completely exaggerate something. Someone can either suck or historically suck. A team can be great, or it can be historically great. What's weird is that there is no in-between phrase like "generationally (blank)." And there should be. In fact, I now can't decide whether Russell generationally sucks or historically sucks. Maybe we need a few more weeks.

LSU 82nd in turnovers for loss.

Here's the big one for Saturday night. The Tigers have won an impressive 32 consecutive night games at home, but I think the Florida D will be too much for them, as they come into this game 93rd in the country in sacks allowed. Expect a big game for the UF defensive ends. And whether Tim Tebow plays or not, the Gators have enough weapons against an LSU defense that has struggled to get a lot of heat on rival offenses (101st in sacks, 82nd in turnovers for loss). The pick is Florida 27, LSU 14.

It was obvious we don't have a fullback. There was almost no I-formation for the running game, which was when Scott picked up most of his yard. He was given the ball out of shotgun way to much. In my opinion.

Question about recuiting?

I was told by someone that a certain highly touted recruit's father does not want him to come to LSU. I was wondering, can the parent's legally stop the child from attending the school of their choice.
It is obvious to me. Trindon fields punts like someone who is not very good at judging the distance of the punt. That is why he always has to catch the punt on the move. Thats why Chad Jones is so sure handed due to his baseball background playing outfield. He is always settled under the punt making it much easier to catch. Trindon seems to be moving back moving foward or even to side as he is catching the ball making it very difficult for someone his size to field it cleanly, thats why it hits his chest pad and he drops it.
