No. 9 LSU (5-0, 3-0) travels to Gainesville to face No. 12 Florida (4-1, 2-1) in a pivotal conference matchup. Kick off in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is set for 6:30pm CT. The game will be televised by ESPN. Gainesville Weather Forecast
LSU is coming off a dramatic and improbable 16-14 victory over Tennessee, while Florida looks to bounce back from a 31-6 loss at Alabama. Team Stats: LSU | Florida
This will be the 57th meeting between the two schools. Florida has won the last two meetings, including a 13-3 victory last year in Baton Rouge. Complete Series History
**************
This will be the toughest pass defense that LSU has faced all season, and the home crowd will be hostile.
It will be strength versus weakness on both sides of the ball. Expect a low scoring affair. I have Josh Jasper kicking the game winner to defeat the Gators, 16-14. The game winning FG will be set up by a long punt return by Patrick Peterson.
Note: Florida's punter is averaging 49 yards a punt, so I am guessing that Patrick Peterson will get opportunities after some booming punts. Also, the Gators are No. 3 nationally in kick off returns, so the Tigers will need to be ready.

about time we started talking about Florida. I have us winning 14-6 on 2 scores by the offense, and Ridley gets another 100 yds rushing against the D.
BTW Chicken, might it be time to have a coach rant stickied thread? to keep some of the idiots off the street?

Our defense keeps us in the game. Lee completes a couple of big passes and Ridley has another solid day.
20-17 Tigers.
