Hopefully just the season. That sounds pretty terrible, but he is just an 18-19 year old kid and I'm sure he's pretty beat up about this.

heard he was out for the rest of the season...didnt think it was a career threatening injury. unless he is giving up on football which i doubt then i guess he means this year

Does he have a history of knee injuries in high school? If this isn't a repeat instance, I can't imagine him calling it quits after 1 injury.

i haven't heard anything about past injuries. Just read in the paper that he would have to have surgery on a knee ligament ( cant remember which one) and was going to be done for the season.

i've never heard of a single knee injury ending somebody's career...at least having the career called this early after the injury

You ever had a torn knee ligament,,,,he looked like he was in pain....Listening to that block and the sheer velocity he plowed into his knee,,,I could not imagine. Here is hoping his knee heals so he can have a normal healthy life outside of football.

It's probably just the season. I mean the kid was starting for a top 10 team as a redshirt freshman, probably feeling on top of the world. And in one play, he feels lower than dirt. He'll be fine
