I think he made a clear case for himself yesterday and got it done under tremendous pressure. He still makes a few mistakes but who the hell doesn't?

Given the starting job and playing time, I don't see why Lee couldn't be one of the better known LSU QBs.

As of today, Lee should get the bulk of the snaps going forward.

Granted, I reserve the right to change my mind after the Florida game.

Comparatively speaking, they should be sold on Lee, at least for significant playing time. I believe no one is sold on the fact that ANY of our QBs could compete for the starting job on any other D-1 team in the top 50.

I think there is something else going on. Maybe too much questioning by Lee of Crowton & Miles that they limit Lee. JJ doesn't do that.

You're asking for too much.

I think Lee should start and not share time with JJ.

But am I "sold on Lee?"

Not yet.

Lee did better than JJ i gotta admit that..although every time he trows the ball i close my eyes..and he stil had some ugly thorws off his back foot.. but right now he looks better althought most of his throws were screens at least he was able to make those..and the one long pass..a little more on the ball and rueban would have slowed down..but a very good job by Mr. Lee maybe it gives him some confidence

Lee is not the answer.
Jefferson is not the answer.
Lee is not as BAD as JJ is right now.
Does that mean I'm sold on Lee?
They both struggle and will continue to do so because they panick when the rush is on.

Some people expect perfection and you'll never get that. I think Lee will continue to get better. I don't expect perfection from any QB.

Lee - 185 yards passing
JJ - 30 yards passing

That says it all.

I don't think either QB is very good.

Yes, but in relation to what we have Lee is by far the best choice. How could we possibly put JJ in again after what we've seen the last few weeks?

Also, with our D and spc teams, Lee gives us a shot at every team on our schedule. Almost every team I guess.

yesterday was a prime example of why so many of us were so pissed that Jarrett didn't receive meaningful snaps in the Vandy game.... what you saw yesterday was rust, that could have been worked out sooner, so maybe that INT in the endzone doesn't happen if he has more experience earlier in the year....

but alas, Miles' head was firmly up his arse, so he couldn't see it....

For both it is their third year. There's one person to blame for their lack of development and it's the offensive coordinator.

Actually, this would make a TON of sense.

Just Rantards being Rantards. You could tell when he was a freshman that he was good enough to compete for titles in the SEC with more experience, better coaching, and a better defense.

I'm not sold on either, but I do realize that J Lee is the best option we have right now to get this thing going. JJ is absolutely NOT the answer.

Lee isnt likely to be a great QB but he isnt playing as bad as JJ. I really dont know how you can do worse than a 15 QB rating.
