This coaching staff is an embarasment to the game. Les miles continually makes excuses and he makes horrible decisions. He reminds me of Jim Hassletts last few years. I hope TAF puts the squeeze on this guy. I already see how this story ends LSU football heads south and the AD realizes his mistake to keep Les that long but its too late. No one wants to play for that moron and we lose out in recruiting.

No, but what quality of coach can we really ever expect to get when we treat them all like this. We have run every successful coach off. Arnsbarger took the first job he could get. Saban took the first train out of town even sitting on a crystal ball. There is no pleasing our fan base. We will always be left with the Curley Hallmans and the Les Miles. At least we are winning.

Those are the fans that throw Crowton and players under the bus before they criticize Miles. Uncommon just doesn't see shite. Dude is a fricking retard.

No - the staff's inability to manage the clock and develop QBs is beyond understanding.
If LSU keeps LM, they need to make him go to one of those camps for HS coaches where they teach them the basics of coaching.

It would probably be a good time for the team to pick up the head coach.
As far as the OC,We need to go ahead and take his keys to the building.

Here comes the next wave of BS excuses as to why we should retain Miles....
Its the SEC and we are paying the current clown $3.7million. If I were an elite coach and you told me that I was succeeding a dolt, would be amongst the Top 10 highest paid in my profession, could expect 92K for home games, had a cupboard stocked full of talent, it would not take me long to sign on the dotted line.
Do you think Saban was intimidated by the irrational fan base at Alabama or Tressell at Ohio State? What a cop out.
Here are my other favorite cop outs:
We can't afford the buy out....well his buyout pales in comparison to the damage he is inflicting on the program and LSU brand.
We have a top 10 recruiting class and they will go elsewhere when Miles is canned...if you have an offensive coaching staff that can't develop the talent when they get here, what's the point?

Never did believe in him. When he was hired I had to ask who is Les Miles and where is he coaching . Like Saban would say. Its time to move on.

Never have believed in him,
I do not do now....
Having said that, there are "some" non-practical areas of coaching that he has done well.
i.e. recruiting,
but when it comes to actual coaching (game management-clock management-player development, etc.)
he is just not a good coach.

As we completely made a clusterf$@& of the end of that game, I tried to tell my group to stay positive. The silver lining was that this would be the beginning of the end of this fool. After all, this was on national tv where everyone can PLAINLY see his idiocy.
Instead, let's call it what it was - a miracle, happened. Now, instead of focusing on the absolutely terrible use of timeouts, inability to have plays ready at the end, the hack job quarterback shuffling, and the complete disaster of the substitutions we are talking about a bizarre win on a Tennessee mistake that was dependent on an official making the right call.
(I understand all three threw a flag, but it still could have been missed)
How anyone can defend this jackass anymore is so far below an average IQ that I wouldn't trust them to make me a burger from mcdonalds. That includes Joe Alleva.

Blame this coach, blame that player. Whatever. He is the head man, it is all on him. His LACK OF LEADERSHIP is unbelievable. NO, I have ZERO respect for this guy..

I am going to to do something I never thought I would do. I hate to criticize coaches and/or players. I have never coached nor played football at the D-1 (or whatever it is called now) level at one of the top football programs in the country with perhaps the most demanding fan base in all of sports (I point a finger at myself first for being this way.), so I have no idea what they go through.
BUT, I truly feel that that Miles and Crowton are stifling a group of young men who have the talent and the passion to win a NC. We have all witnessed the play calling, clock management, misuse of talent, what seems like a lack of preparation and a whole litany of football errors.
I am finally going to admit that Miles and Crowton have need to be replaced. If for no other reason that sooner than later recruiting top players to LSU will become more difficult and the CurlNardo days will be back upon us.
There are 2 things that need to be pointed out. You can not get rid of them during the season. You will be telling the players, thanks for your hard work, blood, sweat and tears, but we are throwing in the towel and flushing the rest of the season. And the team, despite Miles and Crowton is 5-0 and ranked in the top-10.
Secondly, who else is out there to take over the job? I hate being this way but Miles and Crowton need to find other employment at the end of the season.
