24/7 TD Minecraft SMP server

Alright, I think I finally got it.
First things first: 173.234.9.187:25565
No, you do not have to type that in. Highlight, ctrl-c, and hit ctrl-v in the game.
It is definitely a work in progress, but I have a baseline up now.
Later on I can think about maybe adding some mods that will give gameplay a twist.
Right now the cap it set at 20 max players at one time now, but at some point I would let to stress test the build (even if that is even nesscessary...I would be surprised if there are many times where there are more than 10 people on).
I do have one mod installed to give some further functionality outside of Notch's vanilla commands: HeyO.
Will allow for things like you being able to save where your "home" is located and instantly teleporting there as well as PMs between players
No alterations to gameplay as far as I can tell...
Also note that there are no monsters in the game, as there is no way to reliably kill them. Health is bugged ATM in SMP. Although if we wanted to for some reason, I can activate spawns.
I can also install a world you made offline if there is something someone built there that they want to play with online.
Worth noting that your inventory and logoff point are saved, and you will be returned there upon log in.
Hope you guys enjoy it....took way more effort than I expected.
Now I am off to sleep to prep for gameday. 
(BTW: if you are interested in participating here, place post here with your Minecraft account name. If I have to sacrifice openness/accessiblity for performance I will base it off of first come, first served on this list. It would also be nice to have a listing of the Minecraft names of users here for when they vary from the TD name.)
Feedback on performance will be appreciated as well.

i think we should have an unwritten rule to not be a douche... dont go around digging in other peoples storage boxes and such... dont destroy someone's buildings... just simple stuff like that. fix it if you break it.

I played for about five minutes a couple of days ago and really want to get into it when I have the time.

is there anyway you can throw in a mod to give me a red dust so i can make a compass and find my way back to my spawn.

There should be reddust on the map....
But there are already mods installed to do what you want.
the command /compass will tell you what direction you are facing.
The command /spawn will teleport you back to the spawn point.
The command /sethome will set a home waypoint to your base (And by base, I mean where you are standing at that momment. The game won't figure out which is your base)

And tons of casualties!
Of course by tons I mean 1/4th of my airship blew up and my original house had the unfortunate circumstance of being made of wood.
It was a pretty mountain of death while it lasted though.
