I'm not blaming Mahan. I would have done the same thing. Of course, golf is not my profession.

Can't believe NBC didn't show this live. Now we have a new word for a missed chip. MAHAN! MAHAN!

It was Session 3 that killed us. We go 0-5-1 in that session. Lose the cup by 1/2 point.

He really Schruted that chip. Still it's amazing that it came down to the final group.

He'll never say that botch was ok, or just a factor of the pressure, but I don't fault him for that. Just look at the nerves a first time winner goes through on tour, then look at having the entire US golfing world relying on you. It had to be difficult just to grip the club at that point.

ETA: That being said, Rickie Fowler is fricking money.

Stewart Cink blew this for us, not hunter Mahan.

The match that was the true turning point was the last match on Sunday that the US was leading on 18 and ended up halving. That was the half point we needed.

Valiant effort by this team regardless. I didn't think it would be this close.

Hahaha. Lee Westwood complaining about his teammates wasting alcohol by pouring it on Luke Donald's head.

I never liked the Pavin choice as Captain, but he did better than I thought. we could have just halved one more match in the second session, we retain the cup. I thought it would be a blowout.

Whomever chose the clothes for the US needs to be fired. Other than the rain suits I thought they were abismal. And apparently the rain suits were not completely water proof.

The long sleeved sweaters with the cup on the front ware atrocious.
