I was reading the other stories on that page...guy lost 120lbs in 120 days.

I know, he limited himself to 1200 cals/day and exercised daily. I wanted to say something but I figured I may as well let sleeping dogs lie

Think I had lost 60 in 3 months when I was going but dropped to 1100 calories and well you know how much I worked out lol

Yeah you can seriously frick up your metabolism if you eat so little on a daily basis for an extended amount of time.

I always thought about 10lbs a month was a good number for someone severely overweight.

8-10 would be rapid weight loss but still in the "accepted" range according to doctors and nutritional experts. Initially you're going to lose really fast anyway, but over the course of a year it should slow down and average out

Those biggest loser cats lose that much that fast but they also come in HUGE and work out 8 hours a day.

Lost another 2 lbs the last 2 weeks. Feeling good. Today marks the beginning of week 6 of P90X. I've lost about 8-9 lbs and a few belt notches. Let's have a great week people. No cheating.
