wonder if there is still an effort to pick up some extra coins and sell the naming rights to the dome .. you'd think after the world championship .. the fact that the entire football world is cognizant of the dome and NOLA now .. and the super bowl coming up shortly that the naming rights value of the dome is at an apex .. haven't heard anything in awhile about it unless i just missed it ..

I don't quite get it either. They are wasting years the past 4 years IMO. Something is better than nothing.

I am sure they are actively looking .. it is one of the only stadiums in the league without a corporate name .. it is obviously lucrative ...

Benson should just pay it and staple Fox 8, Louisiana Media Company, LLC on top of the dome.

I was wondering why the hell JUICY FRUIT hasn't approached the Saints. They have had more publicity from the coach then any of their stuppid commercials.
The Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Dome or The Weather Channel Dome

VOR-Dome has a nice ring to it.

obviously not since people simply call it the "superdome" or the "dome"
other than the official outlets, no one would use a corporate name
now the NOrena, that could and should have been sold a while back

frick that, why would you want some dumb corporate name? It just wouldn't sound right not calling it the Superdome. Obviously they are doing fine without having a corporate name tied to it, and there are plenty teams that don't have a corporate name tied to there stadium. You want to be on par with these?:
Baltimore Ravens - M&T Bank Stadium
Carolina Panthers - Bank of America Stadium
Arizona Cardinals - University of Phoenix Stadium
Washington Redskins - FedExField

It is the modern way. We will have a named dome, so just learn to deal with it.
All teams in the NFL are constantly looking for ways to make more money to keep up with the other teams.

I would be fine with it if they left "Louisiana Superdome" in the name. Such as:
Frankie and Johnny's Louisiana Superdome: home of the SPECIAL MAN!.

it is the modern economics of professional and big time collegiate sports of the 21st century ... they'll tap every revenue stream possible ... sure, calling it the Martin's Sausage Superdome will sound dumb as shite .. but the outfield wall at alex box stadium loaded with billboard ads looks dumb as shite too ... but it is what it is ..
