sorry if already posted...

If he starts JL and he plays as uninspired as JJ has and makes the same mistakes...then what?

That means both his QBs are not "ready for prime time"...

What would that mean to the team? To him as a coach? To TAF?

I'd live to see JL get a chnace, but that may be in the back of Miles' mind...

i think the LSU fanbase needs to just accept that we are a team without any real QB options

and we won't likely have an option in 2011, unless something drastic happens

then, in 2012 (barring getting mettenberger's commitment), we will be in an even worse situation

It's called facing reality. Most grownups do it from time to time.

if we have no option, then fine we have no option.

I just want to see if lee has gotten better, I already know that JJ hasn't.

I think all fans are basically in this camp, and echo this.

he's regressing

his previous stats mean nothing if he's going backwards

As mentioned in countless other threads, many would get off of Miles; back if this happened.

But until JL plays no one, not even Miles will know.

I still say that even if J Lee is as ineffective as JJ at passing the ball...we still will come out ahead if the carries that JJ was getting in that stupid option play goes to Ridley or any fricking RB for that matter.

So I say start J Lee to stop the option play insanity!!!

Right. And you can set up the play action better when you're consistently handing the ball off.

We haven't tried any play action of the option play and Jefferson can't run the option. He just isn't an option QB. No knock against him. He's trying but you can tell he doesn't feel comfortable running it.

It's not a guarantee but I like your thinking.

I would think he is more afraid of JL lighting it up.

Then we just accept the fact that we tried everything. We dont know that now and looks like we may never know. If both qb's play and suck the so be it, We keep playing good defense and hope for 9 wins.

Exactly. Well said. Do it now while we still have a chance at a special season. Don't wait for a loss to make a change.
