Excellent post.

I'm thinking Miles is tied to Jefferson as Haslett was to Aaron Brooks. I'd be surprised if a change is made.....

True but the point was the team didnt lose poise at any point. Even when down 13. Even when throwing ints in the endzone.

The do what they do and do it like a machine. That is taught. Keep your head and do the small things right, play hard for 60 mins and good things will happen. And it did.

I just dont know what can be done at this point. I think Miles has lost this gig even if he doesnt know it yet.

I will watch the games and enjoy but the thought that this team could compete for a SECC this year is out of question for the most part. Once they start playing real comp, they will implode.

I hate it for the players. They deserve better. Too much wasted talent.

I feel like we are back to the LSU of 90's except with alot more talent...

It would be nice if it were published by a regionally recongized paper to give it some weight and generate some discussion outside of the internet world...

Otherwise, we'll just have to hope someone sends Miles an email with the link to the rant.

Of course they are teaching them how to properly catch a pass (something they should have learned in Pop Warner since most of these Tigers have been playing ball since they were around 5). Jefferson was hitting them in the hands in the first half. That was not his fault. Randle, Tolivar and Shepard are too talented to stay down. This will be their week to shine.

You contradict yourself. for 2-3 years I went alter because I put to much information in my profile (they shouldn't ask) and some wild dude figured out who I was & threatened to come to my business to injure me & do some internet smear.

I'm as frustrated by the offense as you are, but you may want to rethink this idiodic statement

Ray Ray, of course I am not cool with 8 win seasons. Miles has 1. He has one 9 win season. Do you think that with Saban, Alabama, or even LSU for that matter, will have 10 or more wins every year for the next 10 years?

Didnt say we were! Said I feel like we are!

But your right, our offenses were much better in the 90's.

No but I do thinkl the LSU team this year and the last 2 had the talent to be but were not coached well.

Football runs in cycles and our cycle on top is coming to an end, it just didnt have to end as soon as it is, with the talent we have.

I'm glad we have someone so graceful and mature to speak on our behalf.

If I had written this, I probably would have just said "Les, the offense sucks, and every year your team plays ugly boring football that makes me ponder the question of what it really means to be a fan", and that wouldn't be very gracious.

I have been a long time supporter of our coach’s decisions concerning players. I supported the coach’s decision in the MF / JR debate. The coaches see the players every day in practice. If JL was obviously better than JJ, I firmly believe he would be starting. The scary thing is that JL is probably not better than JJ. Even with that, I do think that it is time for JL to get some meaning playing time.

I agree and that is the scary part. No player devolpment...that says alot...

The RP excuse is old. Other teams dont have 1/10 of the problem with younger QB's.

If JL isnt good enough to play, we are in
T R O U B L E!!
