And?

He still managed to come up with a bad answer. So?

It completely negates the excuses that you are providing for him.

please provide an example of what JJ should say

IMO, JJ should say:

"3-13 on 3rd down conversions is NOT acceptable, and we must improve if we want to stay undefeated !!"

"Also, I need to STOP telegraphing my passes !!"

Ok, so you're saying he has no reason not to give a good answer. Would you be feeling better if he had given a textbook PR answer? I wouldn't. I don't care what he has to say. I'd just rather see him play better than give a "good," appeasing interview question. But different things are more important to each of us.

Yes

OK

This would be my first choice.

Second choice, if he doesn't play well, then I wish he'd at least take responsibility for his play and give us some hope that he wants to do better.

Wanting one doesn't have to exclude hoping for the other.

It is still hard for me to see where he is doing the things in practice or in the film room to help himself get better on the field in the games. I just do not see where he can possibly be practicing any better than he is playing on the field in games. He is getting worse and worse with each game and that to me, just does not compute or add up.

I know the Coaches use what the players are doing in practice each week to make their judgements about the players they are going to trust in the games and also the previous games play, BUT, it is also hard for me to believe that the Coaches if they are watching game film that JJ is not progressing at all when in fact he is not getting any better, he is absolutely pathetic.

JJ is full of shite.... he can say with his mouth he's not frustrated, but his body language and goofy arse face tells a totally different tale....

I am very frustrated at our QB play (JJ) and think, it is, in fact getting worse.
However, JJ's comments seem to me to be what you would expect from a kid trying to survive. He's not hearing boos b/c he's blocking it out...jsut as he would block out noise in an opposing stadium. I suspect he 's doing the very best he can to play well. JJ's not making the decison to keep him in as starter, the coaches are.
Cut the kid some slack; he's not making 4 million a year and never will.
We should never boo a player or BOO SO THAT THE PLAYER CAN HAVE THAT IMPRESSION!
I want Miles replaced, but I will not boo in Tiger Stadium. That's classless.

I''m not sure if I would look forward to walking out on the field and having 90,000+ fans booing me either. You are already not playing that well. That just has to frick things up even more.
