Miles played Blue initially because he liked his ball security (at least thats what most said), that reasoning doesnt work anymore.

same shite as last year with why RS didn't play more

i was totally unimpressed with shep last year. and maybe there also is a reason ford is not playing. blue hasn't impressed me so ford must be screwing up. the thing is, as a coach, you can't play who the fans, who know nothing, want. playing time is earned. it appears that miles wants to play ford, but he hasn't earned it.

This whole thread is total junk. Quit hanging on a head coaches statements. They make them to speak to players, confuse opposing coaches or talk around issues they don't want made public. Our running game is fine. There is NO hypocrisy in the fumbling benching. Young backs have made mistakes and are receiving room to grow this year. We are playing the best players this year- no matter what their age. You see Ford in ONE scrimmage and think you have the whole picture. Obviously- you don't. So much fail in this thread it's unreal. Most are just quoting "Trendy opinions" that lack merit totally.

As soon as Ford shows Miles that he has a want to run the ball we will see more Ford.

I think you’ll see more of Michael Ford. I keep saying that, and I mean it. It’s not that I’m not seeing that.

Linguistically speaking, this is the thought structure of a heavy, chronic user of marijuana. Not that that's a bad thing.

I agree with GrandPa, I was very unimpressed with Shepard as well. I mean everytime he was in the backfield they handed off to him and it usually was up the middle instead of on the sides to use his speed and shiftiness. And with the defense knowing what he was going to do everytime he was no use to us. Having the highest YPC doesn't mean anything... Ford and him can't do much on the sidelines.
