Even if he gets healthy I can't imagine him having much of a role in the offense. I hate to say this and I'd like to see him do well but, definitely Ridley and Ware are much better backs than him, and my guess is that Ford is too. I know Murphy has a bit of a different skill set than those guys but, Sheppard can do most of the things they would ask of Murphy. Early in the Vandy game, he saw more action than I would have expected.

Murphy has failed to impress since he has been here. I wish him the best but I would prefer to see the younger players like Ford, Ware, Blue get those extra reps. They are the future.
