goes down with an injury on a kick return?

How many ranters would argue that he shouldn't have been returning kicks because he was too valuable on defense and arguably our mvp?

I (among others) take the stance that you play the best players, at every position, every opportunity that you can. This man is a beast and will be a legend when he leaves but I'm willing to take the chance of him going down during a return, all the while giving us the best opportunity for success when he's in.

That being said and knowing how the rant rolls - I can see a large populus arguing that he shouldn't have been returning kicks for this very reason.

So what say you? Take your stance right now. Will you hold your peace on the rant if this scenario played out? Or would the sh!t hit the fan?

Oh, and by the way, I damn sure don't want to find out who's opinion is right or wrong!

God Bless the Tigers!

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever speak of injuries to Patrick Peterson (unless you discuss cramping only).

PP wants to return kicks. Its as much his decision as the coaching staff.

After the problems Miles has playing talented guys who could be game breakers, anyone who bitches about Peterson returning kicks should be ignored completely.

Because he returns kicks. Idiots have already suggested that their lord and savior CLM was not playing RS because he didn't want him to get hurt, so I'm sure they would show up and complain.

Shepard was small. PP7 is a 221 lb tank. He's as big as most RBs.

I think Peterson is a GREAT corner. But he is the most important on the team BECAUSE of the fact that he can be utilized in other aspects besides just defense, and he's great at that too. IMO, he needs to be running the Wild Tiger with Shep every now and again.

Well, they are now talking about the possibility of him getting some touches on offense, and Tyrann spelling him on D. I guess we gonna ride that train. If he gets hurt, he gets hurt, but theres no way the beast sits. Better find a way to hydrate him, limit his creatine(another posters idea-I don't know), and lower his core temp.

I plan on finding him after a game and getting a small scratch sample for the future. DNA cloning

LM will get grief for not playing a 3rd string RB, yet at the same time he'll never receive credit for the move to use PP for returns.

The LM-Rant paradox.

I think most of the Rant is actually pumped about seeing PP#7 returning kicks. Even if he has to sit out a play or two on defense.

Some of the idiots on here want him on offense too. He is a special player. I don't care if that was a high school specials team unit. What he did on ST helped to win that game.

WE WANT HIM ON THAT WALL. WE NEED HIM ON THAT WALL

No, what i'm saying is that they were suggesting that CLM was intentionally not playing his more talented players more so they wouldn't get hurt. They were acting like it was a sign of football wisdom from Les.

He would definately be one hell of a distraction on offense. Play action to PP, then pick a reciever....TD!

But Shepard is more likely to get hurt than Peterson, so it kinda makes sense.
