There are a lot of people coming from out of town. They would have to take off from work to drive down to make a Friday night wedding.

Depending on where the wedding is, most of your good friends that you apparently care so deeply for...will have to take off for the rehersal. Will they not?

Moral of the story; just because its your wedding day, doesnt mean it has to be ALL about you.

That's a great story, and I'm glad you had good time

Nope, all of my good friends (they I adore so so much with all of my hearts) that will be at the rehearsal live within an hour drive.

This thread is the exact reason you should never schedule your wedding on an LSU game.

It's kept me from actually working for the last hour, so it's been fun for me.

I'm missing the Vandy game due to a wedding and the wedding party family is full of Vandy alums. At least it's a semi-night game at 6. Full bar and time to scream like a coonass at the family while they defend the worst team in the sec.

I think my favorite part of all this is that the reception will be spent watching the game. You know, the only part of the wedding that anybody ACTUALLY cares about and wants to attend will be spent in a room watching the game that they could be at in person. So pretty much these guys are missing the game, renting tuxes, standing in church for an hour, and then convening in a room to watch the game on what will probably be a shitty TV.
