This is why I got married in MAY!

What if someone wanted to attend an LSU baseball game? What if they wanted to go fishing? Selfish prick.

I'm a big LSU baseball fan, and I don't see too many people bitching about having to miss 1 out of 35 regular season baseball games for a wedding. Football is a much bigger deal because more people are interested and you have alot less games.

With that logic why not say, "Hell its just a wedding, its a coin flip they wind up divorced anyway."

My brother inlaw is getting married and I told him it had to be in the spring when all football is over. He's getting married in April.

Then I'd be okay with it.

I got married in May when LSU Baseball was going on. I told my friends that of they wanted to go to the game, they weren't going to hurt my feelings.

Weddings are lame (even your own). While girls love them, guys hate them. To be upset because someone chooses something fun - an LSU game - over your lame wedding is . . . lame.

I never said I would be upset about someone skipping my wedding for the Tennessee game.

You said you wouldnt consider them a good friend. My thought, if someone wouldnt consider me a friend for not coming to their wedding, whatever the reason, then I dont want to be at their wedding in the first place.

That's right.

A good friend would not skip another friend's wedding (arguably one of the biggest days of his/her life) for a LSU game.

well, a good friend wouldn't put his friend in the situation to have to make that choice

That can easily be debatable. First and foremost, the fact that most people getting married have no true clue as to who exactly is at their wedding and who isnt. Especially with a large wedding. I have skipped friend's weddings for LSU games and not only are we still good friends, they didnt even know I wasnt there.
