Trust me gators aint that bad, its the spiders you have to watch out for. Get drunk while froging and see who can hand catch the biggest gator, now thats fun.

Discovery Channel actually contacted the Louisiana Council of Underwater Dive Clubs (spearfishing) to do a show like this on spearfishermen
That'd be a bad arse show as well IMO

Texas has got the biggest gator these days, hunting keeps them small in LA. East Texas around Orange has some of the biggest gators I have ever seen. Biggest was an 18ft in the santuary in lake Martin. Some a-hole shot in one night just to shoot it.

Watched it and thought it was good. I gator hunted for about 12 years straight with about 40-60 tags a year and they definitely made it a little more dramatic than it needs to be. The two guys from myrtle grove love to get out the boat for some reason. I hardly ever got out the boat and definitely not in the situations they got out for.
Some monster gators though. A 12'2 and a 12'10 are some monsters. They don't get much bigger than that.

The country record gator is 14'2 and it came out of Louisiana. It's uncommon for them to get over 12 ft especially now. Biggest I've saw was 13'10 and it was incredible how big it was.
