This was a great episode for revealing the Umbrella Corp-esque "Vampire Authority".
Then Russels freak out on the News will change things with the publics perception towards the Vamps. I think the Shifters/Weres will side with the humans, since they actually still live human lives.
She worked for the Pelts following investigating Sookie. Then married Calvin.

Can't believe no one mentined that naked girl Nan had in her car.

Russell will set off the World War, and the fairies, panthers, weres, shifters, and vamps will alll be at it, but Lafayette will save the day with his great foretold powers!

And she STILL wasnt really a main character then, and I didn't need a book spolier to drive my point home.
Russell's character is great, and it wasn't the same type of storyline in the books, so the show could take his character anywhere, and I love that. I am soooo over the Hot Shot storyline though. Those hillbillies are adding nada to the show.

I just caught up on the DVR. That has to be the most awesome ending to a show in this series yet. I am still a few hours later.

The authority is a whole other storyline. I think Russell will maintain the main story, but will likely be killed off by seasons end. Then we'll have some sort of fight over control of his land and of Louisiana, if the Queen of Louisiana somehow ends up not getting it back for some reason if Russell is killed.

I wonder if the whole jaguar tattoo thing Jesus was talking about is foreshadowing that maybe he is a were-jaguar? That would be interesting....
I think so

Sookie blood's will give him the strength to overcome Eric.
I think what you meant to say was Sookie's blood will give ERIC the strength to overpower Russell

Is that new waitress the dead cajun dude's (rene?) Sister?
Hadn't thought about that. I was thinking she was a witch

I hope it does happen that way, but who knows Lafayette supposedly has great hidden power! but so far all I've seen is his willing power to go down on Jesus.

I totally didn't see Sam going off like that.
I can't stand Crystal, Jason should let her get kilt already.
I cracked up at the Talbot urn. And at the ending. "We WILL eat you. After we eat your children".
I don't like the whole Lafayette power thing--I think there's already enough unexplained/mysterious powers in the show that they can lay off it for awhile. I mean, damn, is ANYONE human in that fricking town??

I guess I'm all alone in that I want to defile that heroin-chic little pixy, although their story line hasn't been fully developed, I trust Alan Ball bases on his near flawless track record that the were-panthers have something valuable to offer this series. The only thing that makes me question Ball is the Man-Features(Tara) character. She is repulsive.

I don't like the gay scenes with lafayette and the other guy either but some of you are too homophobic.
I like this show. Can't wait to see Tara get killed off. Hopefully soon.

It is not homophobic to not want to watch guys making out.
If it is consolation, I don't want to see ugly people make out or make love either. That's why there are no mirrors in my bedroom.
