that makes sense if you count mo as the number 1 on the other side instead of making him 2 overall but still. we have a lot of guys that could be there. i'd love to hear that mathieu is that good but we do have a lot of guys capable of coming in.

its not hard to understand. there is a rt corner and a left corner who are both considered #1. Then you have the #2 guys behind them.
But as of now you have peterson mo and st. julien the three guys that will play. Mathieu will play if peterson goes down or needs a breather or whatever. Last season mo was the #2 guy behind peterson. But peterson and hawkins were our starting cbs.
but all this can change throughout the season. And im sure with the safeties we have, the safeties will be used more in the nickle and dime packages. No way you keep hatcher and loston off the field.

yeah i really think people on here dont understand football and are just oblivious. Im no expert, but i understand at least the most simple things.
Mathieu being number 2 behind peterson is a good thing. that means he is that good and we have unbelievable depth in our secondary.
