This was one of me and my sisters favorite movies as kids..
my sister bought the DVD for my little boy a couple of years ago...he is about to be 6 and is just now getting into movies that are not strictly cartoons...HE LOVES THIS MOVIE!..i have watched at least some parts of the Neverending Story probably eight or nine times in the last month.
The first time my son saw the Gmork, which he calls the Green Eyed Wolf, he came a running and jumped in my lap hiding his eyes...the terror of that character continues to a new generation...

The movie only goes through about half of the book, BTW.

I always wanted my own Falcor. But I thought the gates Atreyu had to go through up north were pretty freaky.

Gmork, the wolf servant of the Nothing used to scare the shite out of me and my younger brother when we were little.
This movie is one of my all time favorites and I LOVE the music at the end credits.

Watched this the other day on Netflix streaming. I still love this movie, but it's always bothered me that Atreyu is always screaming.
