We might as well go ahead and get all of these out of the way.

Wasn't there, but '88 Miami is undusputed winner of all, though.

It could not ever have rained as hard as when Miami kicked our arse.

This...

I was there, I can't imagine it could ever be worse than that.

I will ALWAYS appreciate Miles for beating the living crap out of them in the Peach Bowl (I was there too) and we even kicked their butts in the after fight that they started.

That was total vindication for me!

Florida '99 was pretty bad. But from what I've heard, nothing tops Miami '88.

1985 Kentucky game. We won 10-0 but it was a constant drizzle and rain and drizzle. NOT FUN. they also had like 23 punts in the game. made for a MISERABLE NIGHT.

That was a horrible night in '88 all the way around. The worst for me though was 'Bama in '79. They would win the national title and the valiant Tigers fought in a steady downpour to the bitter end, losing 3-0. Unlike '88 the stadium was still nearly full late in the game in spite of the terrible weather.

Considering 75% of the stadium never bothered to even show up for the game, Fresno St is the winner.

Miami '88

This was the only game I've ever sat in the south endzone. Bought tickets outside the stadium before the game that happened to be under the overhang in the south endzone. That was the only positive of that night though.

I was there and it was miserable. I remember being cold. I don't remember if it was because I was wet or it was a little cold that night.

I was at that game. It actually didn't rain at all during the game...or very little if any. But man did it pour before the game. Game was delayed, and the poor band suffered thru pregame. I remember that's when I realized just how much of a beast Craig Steltz was.

LSU/Tulane in Stovall's first year. LSU won the game and Tulane cried foul saying the rain stopped Nicky Hall from passing. Alan Risher passed for over 200 yards in the rain and Nicky Hall could not do anything. Tulane snapper kept snapping the ball on the ground when Tulane punted and LSU was killing the punter when he was trying to pick up the wet ball and punt. I forget who LSU's Punter was but he was punting boomers all night. The game was fun but it rained from start to finish. I think they may have been 40,000 at the game. The LSU Band marched at halftime in the pouring rain. There was a small crowd but maybe the loudest small crowd I have ever heard.

FSU in '91, at one point in the student section I had water up to my calves. Ole Piss in the early 90's (can't remember the year) it didn't rain hard but it was a steady drizzle and it was like 40 degrees.

Im not sure what game it was but i think it was in 03 against ULL or something and there was lightning and everyone had to scrunch up inside near the concession stands for like 45 minutes. It was ridiculous, next time i think i will not leave my seat and just take my chances with the lightning.

+1 I was there as well. It rained so hard we had to retreat inside the stadium. Good thing to, our Tigers lost badly. I too appreciated the Peach Bowl whooping of the caines. I was there, too.
