Since QB topics get so much play on here how about this one.

I would nominate Hodson but reality is Herb Tyler is my favorite LSU QB of all-time.

Rohan was unbelievably inspiring. He would see a receiver breaking and wait until just the perfect moment to throw, while a giant linebacker was running strainght at him at full speed. He would release the ball a tenth of a second before being absolutely crushed, and the pass would be a brilliant long gaining play. Then they would pick Rohan up, push his bones back together, throw some tape on it and he would be out to do it again the next play. He could throw better jumping around on what had to be a broken leg than most quarterbacks with two legs. The Jamaican accent just made it better.

It's hard to separate Hodson, Tyler, and Davey. Hodson and Tyler were forced to play as Freshmen and performed exceptionally well. Davey gave a lot of thrills. His plays to Reed in the Georgia Tech game were two of the greatest college football highlights in my recollection over about forty years of watching football.

My personal favorite would be Rohan Davey followed by Mauck, Tyler and Hodson.
