Ruth's Chris has a really good BBQ shrimp IMO. It is served with mashed potatoes. The sauce and the mashed taters is a really nice combo.

The only non'steak item I've ever ordered at Ruth's Chris. All the extra juice just soaks into the mashed potatoes. Its a very good dish that not many people ever order because it's a steakhouse

I'm pretty sure TJ Ribs offers them as well. I'd imagine they are the same/close to as Ruth's.

Ditto.

TJ's are pretty good...they serve them over mashed potatoes tho.

Not a large list of really good bbq skrimps in BR.

True. I usually order the steak, but on occasion I'll order the BBQ shrimp. I think it is really good. It may not be the classic presentation, but it is damn good. I really liked the dish at Tigre's/Vic's Chophouse.

Chimes is very good, it's a little different than the sauces in NOLA, but still excellent.

If you really want NOLA style, go to a NOLA place. The shrimp at Galatoire's on Perkins at Highland are amazing.
