I think one of the OP's big problems is not many places are going to do seperate checks for a party of twelve. I wouldn't if I owned a place.

based this off of a Web site listing of prices

The online Stella! prices are $14-$59 for an appetizer, $12-$18 for a salad and $31-$49 for entree.

Desserts alone are 11 dollars.

For a three course meal that would be 54-126 dollars per person. And thats if you choose a salad or an entree not both.

250 day aged grilled kobe beef tenderloin with vintage house kimchees, watermelon kimchee and citrus korean barbecue butter

Sounds more like it would be an entree to me but they list it as a starter.

Yeah, I looked it up.

How the hell do they age a piece of meat for 250 days?

That appetizer sure was good sweetheart. Glad you ordered it. Waiter, I think I'm going to switch to Ice tea.

Go to Tommy's in the Warehouse district. They'll split the check for you.

Antoine's has a lot of great private dining rooms and may be worth looking into. Muriel's has worked out well for larger groups I've dined with in the past. I agree that Bourbon House and Red Fish Grill are both terrible.
