Yeah, Jeter was #1 atleast once. He's usually on it. When he was #1 in 08 everyone here agreed with it though.

Really I would think the Yankees alltime hits leader would deserve whatever hype he gets. Thats just me though.

They are as right about Joba as they are wrong about A Rod. I cheer for the guy (Chamberlain), but I think he is a head case, and a meltdown always waiting to happen. He flushed a 5 run lead (admittedly including 2 inherited runners)against Seattle in the 8th inning last week, and that is getting more and more common.

Wow, the rest of the Yankees must be a bunch of over-achievers considering they are carrying these guys and still have the best record in ALL of baseball. Seriously what douches voted for this? Swisher has been one of the most underated players this year! LOOK IT UP

This almost exactly what I said that year, but no one cared. All the "baseball experts" on this board and even a baseball player agreed he was well overrated. I will say that he was having a down year that season. They said he was about the 10th best Shortstop in the league. Their reasoning was his low OPS. Most guys they rated above him have had a lower OPS than he has ever since.

the guy has had an ERA under 4 in all but one season. As well as a career 7.74 K/9 and 3.04 K/BB.
