Can we kill this thread please? I guess not until the Sabanistas kill themselves.

You do realize it was a Miles supporter that started this thread.

Let me see, 2002.

Played most of the season with no qb. New receivers. Defense was pretty banged up and played the last half of the season hurt, oh, and Damien James got booted off the team midway through the season as well.

You Miles worshipers have it all messed up where I am concerned. When I compare coaches I compare resumes for where they are now, not isolated resumes of when they were only at LSU. Stop comparing what Miles did at LSU and what Saban did only at LSU. If you are asking me who is the better coach right now it's Saban hands down. We have to compete against Saban every year in the West so how good a coach he is relative to Les Miles is a fair comparison. The last 2 years Saban has been on a run rarely seen in SEC history. Undefeated in 2 SEC regular seasons with only 1 SEC loss in 2 years in the nations toughest conference. Also 2 National Championships with 2 different teams is not done on a yearly basis. It's not just what Saban did while he was at LSU, but what's happening now? Saban is owning Les over the last 2 seasons 16-0 to 8-8. This is what matters. You have to give Nicky his props.

Okay.....Did you see Saban at Michigan State or Miami? For the record, if you watch his coaching decisions at Miami he makes Miles look like Davinci

Actually, it's been done once, by Saban, who has made a ton of apparently impaired decisions in his day.

Yup - you're right, let's judge 2 year windows. The prior 2 years Les would have owned Nick?

but you have to give Miles his due as well. Look, it's not so much the Sabanites that annoy me, it's the guys that promote the following coaches that haven't done shite in their career except beat up on cupcakes:
- Petrino
- Stoops
- Rodriguez

there is some sick retards here.
the childhood issues are soooo sad.

The cupboard was not bare.

Bama had 16 true freshmen play regularly in the 2008 season.

I'm not a Miles worshipper. I am just smart enough to realize Saban isn't coming back and the program needs to move forward. The Saban lovers need to pick: Support LSU or support Saban and Bama. No room for both.

Saban has a huge ego. He love for you to go suck his dick in Bamaland.

You must have no idea of the talent on our team when Saban took over and how depleted Bama's roster was when he stepped in there.

Oh yea. Without Saban. There would be no light, the earth would be without form. There would be no football until Saban decided there was. There is nothing without Saban. Just yesterday. He arrived on the BP rigs, dove in, and with a wave of his hand, stopped the flow of oil from the blown out well.
All of you who love Saban so much should all gather together and do the world a favor. Shut up, drink Jim Jones flavored kool aid and end it all.

He moved two TE's to the defensive line in his first year here. I'm not really getting into this rediculously short-sighted and worthless argument, except to say that GeauxTiga might be the dumbest motherfricker I've ever seen call someone else misinformed.

I'm guessing because he had to build the program up from nothing.

i've never seen saban lose 9 games in 2 years

Saban coached before he came to LSU

1995 Michigan State 6–5–1
1996 Michigan State 6–6
1997 Michigan State 7–5
1998 Michigan State 6–6

He has a 9-2 year when LSU hired him.

Saban would eat Less's children while Less watched and did nothing.
