How come everytime I hear these talking heads talking about teams winning their division they have the Falcons over the Saints. I look at their roster and I just dont get it. Nothing there that seems to jump off the page.

it blows my mind people keep picking the falcons...they are waiting for that one season that they will possibly overtake the division.

I mean we finished 4 games better than them last year and I think we improved in the offseason. They didnt finish last so the theory worst to first is out the window. Is it simply because of Michael Turner and Matt Ryan? Just dont see it

Falcons def appear to be a trendy pick, the Packers are a trendy pick because the media likes to copycat super bowl champs. The Saints were a trendy pick after in Payton's 2nd year. And alot like that Saints team, the Pack has a great offense. Everyone figures its just a matter of time before they get that D going. And they were actually really good against less than good offenses. So, I can see the reasoning there, them making the Super Bowl wouldn't surprise me at all.
