unless for some reason the coaches would rather go with Barrett Bailey/Zach Lee(maybe) then CG? I mean that's the only explanation here. That they feel they have other QB's on the roster or coming in that are better that CG. And in the past, CG would stay and take up space and maybe even play over somebody else. Now, he's gone.

that can only possibly be lee, who is a baseball player playing football who likely leaves in 3 years

The coaches have no idea if Zach Lee is going to end up here at this point.
