Damn, can't believe that place went under. The BK's in this town are all run so well, and the staff is always top notch. Shame.

I hope and pray that Jones Creek is the next to go. If I had money to burn, I would buy that place just to shut it down.

Damn, I actually thought that one was decent. The one on the corner of Essen/Perkins is the worst establish known to man.

It really shows how management can change over time.

When I was growing up McDonalds easily had the worst service of any fast food joint. If you asked for no onions, sirens and red flashing lights would go off and after 15 minutes you would still get onions.

Back then, BK was king of service with their "Have It Your Way" campaign.

Now, you can get no onions at McDonalds with no problem but pretty much any normal order at BK takes forever. "Have It Your Way" died along with the chain. I prefer their burger but never go anymore.

Wendy's is the best for customer service.

The Wendys on Far West in Austin had the fastest service I have ever seen in my entire life.

You could get behind 10 cars all the way out on the street and still be through the line in minutes.

You placed you order paid, and moved to the window where they promptly handed you you order. In three years the only time they ever messed up my order, they gave me an extra burger.

Most Wendys are good but that one was a whole level above. Their service actually was 11 out of 10.

Yes, that one is AWFUL. I think I've only been to the O'Neal one once, a couple of years ago. I remember being pleasantly surprised, because it beat my other recent BK experiences. Which isn't saying much.

I will always have a soft place in my heart for the O'Neal BK.

I was in Vegas when LSU won the MNC in Jan. 04. I returned the next day--late--and wanted a newspaper, but couldn't find one at any of the usual places. Then I had a brainstorm and went to the drive-thru at that BK because they have a paper vending box. I deposited my 50 cents and proceeded to take all 5 remaining copies of the MNC newspaper. sniff.

But yeah, the restaurant itself sucked.

Damn! I wish ya'll had told me earlier...I have been sitting in the drive through line here for 30 minutes...seemed like status quo to me.

The one in front of Blockbuster? My wife used to be the assistant manager at Blockbuster in 00. BK had a homeless man who worked there. He actually lived in a tent in the woods nearby. True story.
