"Looks like Big12 will be back to 12. BYU and Air Force will be invited to replace NU and CU by Wed. Texas/Okla schools are all on board."

No one else is confirming this, but they said it on-air. Being they are ESPN and ESPN is in negotiations with the Big XII, it could be true...but maybe not.

Without the school presidents and conference commissioners saying it, I wouldn't believe it.

Big 12 will get that much weaker and more laughable imo

Also keep in mind almost every guy on the air on 104.9 is employed by orangebloods.com

Playing along...lose CU, get BYU. Probably a wash. BYU has probably been an overall better athletic program the last decade or maybe even 2.

Lose Nebraska and get Air Force? Uh-oh. Losing an all-time football program and gaining a service academy is not good.

BYU and Airforce?

Not so great. Just my opinion.

If we go back to the money issue, TCU doesn't add the network value cause UT and A&M already get the Dallas network.

Air Force would bring back the Denver market that the Big XII lost with CU.

why would they invite two more teams to share the money with. especially two more teams who bring almost nothing to the conference? i don't buy it.

ya, byu doesn't play sports on sundays right?

and half their conference doesn't play football on saturdays - it's easy to see why they would get a big contract

I don't believe this. There are bigger high school stadiums in Texas than that one out in Colorado Springs. Another thing, both BYU and Utah will NOT play any sports on a Sunday. That is one major reason why BYU and Utah are not in the Pac 10.

So they can keep calling themselves the Big 12 without having folks laugh at them every time they do.

Pretty Dumb not to take Colorado State. Though they have a bad team now, they can be every bit as good as Colorado if they were in a BCS league. Not that being 'that good' would take much.

Plus, CSU pulls that Denver market back.
