OU would be better off in the SEC than the PAC10. They could still continue their Red River rivalry with UT

Alabama will then become the second dirtiest team in the SEC.

Me, either. A&M and UT in the Big 10 would not make sense to me.

Does Slive let 'em in?
After watching the hatchet job the refs did on Arky v UF why would they come

Seriously that was bad but wow how cool would that be. Slive will have to consult Saban before making any decisions.

Hell, the schools will change their minds five times between now and decision time. It makes the most sense to me for A&M, UT, and OU to head to the SEC. The PAC 10 and Big 10 make no sense. Academics have nothing to do with this. It's all $$$ as Jessie Palmer noted.

My sense of geography is going to get raped if all these changes happen. I can't have Okla St going to the Pac-10, UT and A&M going to the Big 10, and OU coming south!! This puzzle is getting out of whack!

Big 10 appears to be making out like a bandit if this comes to pass

While the PAC adds Colorado and Ok State...

The Big 10 adds Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M (14 so far) and has room to add Notre Dame (if they finally jump) and one more (maybe Rutgers)

Stop and think about that for a second... Big 10 would have added:

Nebraska
Texas
Notre Dame
Texas A&M

Notre Dame and Texas are probably the most coveted programs in college sports - Nebraska is also elite, Texas A&M adds major population - and perhaps more importantly keeps the SEC or PAC from making inroads into Texas

If the Big 10 set out to gain Q rating and media markets they just couldn't do any better than this outcome

This would be good for OU though.

Methinks the "academic" crowd at Texas and A&M have taken over negotiations. Hence, the Big 10's appeal.

November games in Madison or Minn's new outdoor stadium... lovely.
