is the schlitz and giggles on perkins struggling a bit?

went by there last friday night for a few beers and there might have been 7 other people in there besides my group.

it is tucked back there in a strange spot .. you really have to know it is there to go there ... i think that location has to hurt for random drive-by business big time ..

been twice...once for national basketball championship...once more for a pie on a friday night...neither were very busy.....and service was still pretty slow.

I live not far away and until about a month ago had no clue they were even open. I was told that a lot of the workers are new to the business so they are doing a lot of training before a "grand opening." They need to at least get some signs on Perkins or something.

had to tell a few people they had to turn at the Kean's to get there, some had no idea. Despite the massive neon sign it is pretty hidden.

I am in the same boat as you guys. I was driving down to the Ivars area recently and I glance over and BOOM this big neon sign hits me.
First thing I thought was, "they opened another location? I didn't know their downtown spot was even popular."

you can easily see it at night from a block or so away coming down perkins from acadian, but from the other way you can't see it at all .. during the day you will pass it up if you don't know it is there ... time to have a few LSU coaches shows at schlitz and giggles ..
