Yeah that was pretty well-played by Shockey. I, too was scoffing at the date story initially. "What a douche....". Guess he proved me wrong

if ya notice the espn/tmz press was all over this when it was "Shockey using internet to pickup women". When it's a feelgood story ya find it on some obscure blogs. Please avoid espn whenever possible. NFL network a whole level better. But if ya notice, Rich Eisen, who came from espn can be quite a douche. He relentlessly pumps the Favre, TO, Cowboys, latest scandal hoopla. Otherwise, it is much more football and less tmz-ish.

good for shockey... you know its sad that they reported this story initially and then when he did something good they fail to report the good stuff
