Remember in '91 Curly had nothing so he converted Eddie's brother Vincent from CB to RB.

Nothing will ever beat Faulk, Mealy, Collins, and Cleveland. Look up the stats, it's not even close

I think the backfield that had the most potential in the history of the program was Vincent, Carey, Broussard, Addai. It's amazing that other than Addai (who was buried on the depth chart) was the only one that emerged successful out of these four.

Going to have to go with the Dalton/James Gang...Dalton Hilliard and Gary James. Surprised they are not getting more votes. Sure would have liked to have seen what Cecil the Diesel could have done had things worked out!

Actually had a great trio of future NFLers several times. Cannon and Robinson joined Taylor in 1957.
Toefield, Davis and Addai shared the field in 2002.
Cantrelle and Davis were both on the team in '71 but I don't think Davis played(freshman inelegible)
However Davis, Robiskie and Steve Rogers were contemporaries in '73/'74.
Hilliard and James were dynamic.
Faulk, Cleveland, Mealey and Collins were super talented.
Addai and Vincent were a fine duo in '03 as well.
History may tell us that 4 future NFLers all played backfield roles in '07. Hester, Scott, Williams and Holliday.

If my memory is right, the Fuller brothers are the only brothers to be in the backfield in a game at the same time in the history of LSU Football. Any one know for sure??

I am 36 and remember Sammy Martin. Does anyone have a pic from back then? As I remember, Sammy was a balding rb that did not resemble your typical rb.
