Good analysis....thanks
OK...just got the scoop:
"Miles confirmed last month that freshman linebacker Trevon Randle and sophomore running back Jakhari Gore were not returning to the program."
Gore transferred to Mizzou

I have another question. When Jakahri Gore was recruited, I thought he would certainly be in the RB mix...has he fallen off the earth. I had heard that were trying him at WR, but not even seeing him listed on the roster on one of the sites. I come to TigerDroppings to ask some of you "Experts"...any info on Gore?
Any update on Gore...totally missed any news on Gore.

I think Baker sneaks in there and maybe Hatcher as well...I agree for the most part, but if I had to pick one from your your undrafted list I would say Baker has a good shot.
As far as next season..I am liking the offense:
Mettenberger, 4 star
Ware, 5 star
Ford, 4 star
Hilliard, 4 star
Blue, 3 star
Shepherd, 5 star
Landry, 5 star
Beckham, 4 star
Wright, 4 star
Boone, 4 star
(FB), Copeland, 4 star
***Zach....get the ball in their hands!

"Potentially" playing in the NFL...I am simply stating that it is impressive. I have another question. I have no results on Lee...but note on Brooks and why I think he will be a steal:
Last year:
Started 3 games
20 solo tackles
4 sacks
2 Ints
3 fumble recoveries
He played in 14 games, but if he were an every game starter...stats would be great.

Whatcha mean?

Also Jeff is doing very well at the combine so his stock will rise slightly. I see someone taking a chance on him.
I have noticed JJ doing well at combine, but I just cannot see him drafted but someone picking him up as a FA....decision making, IQ, and off the field issues may hurt him.
Would love to see J.Lee pull at Matt Flynn, sit a few years behind a Brees or Brady, and flourish.
BTW...Cool to see Flynn a wanted man.
Could Claiborne, Brockers, Taylor, and Randle all be first rounders...DeAngelo is a second rounder I think after the Patriots proved the value of TEs this past season, but do not see him a first rounder and with five TEs ranked above him, he could fall to third or fourth rd.
Just wanted some feedback.

I guess I thought that was understood...I agree with Brooks being a steal for some team. In the past, I have noticed that the Chiefs and Patriots like LSU players...could Randle fall far enough for the Patriots to get him...they need a WR. Who is overrated on this list...someone commented that T-Bob is overrated as the 14 rated center...but I am riding the fence on that one.

Yes they are overall rankings....after round 7, they are listed as FA
2012 NFL draft LSU projections

Reading the CBS NFL draft projections, it really makes a Tiger fan proud to see how many LSU players are ranked among the best NFL prospects. I have them listed below, but note that Lee is ranked higher than JJ.
Name / Pos. Ranking / Overall Ranking
QB Jarrett Lee /20 / 345
QB Jordan Jefferson / 22/ 403
WR R. Randle / 6 / 49
TE Deangelo Peterson / 6/ 133
Guard Blackwell / 25/ 421
Center T-Bob / 14 /308
CB Claiborne / 1 / 4
CB Brooks / 37 / 314
DT Brockers / 1 / 8
OLB Baker / 32/ 383
OLB Francois / 43 / 521
SS Taylor / 5 / 175
SS Hatcher / 22 / 501
That is 13 Tigers projected to be playing in the NFL next year. Link : LINK

I was interested in some Tiger Rant feedback on:
Besides the obvious, who will we miss the most?
Are any of these players over rated or under rated?
Which ones are likely to make an immediate impact in the NFL?
And...Pardon my ignorance (been out of the country for a month) but is Randle a def to leave as a junior?
Looking fwd to your feedback

REPEAT GAME...LSU OREG OR LSU BAMA
REPEAT:
OREGON V LSU
OR
BAMA V LSU
OREGON V LSU
OR
BAMA V LSU
Stanford could slide into the 8th seed, but LSU would take it..in fact, if any of the seeds behind 8 move up...I see LSU beating any of those teams.
