With those 6 rbi's he set the record for most rbi's in a major league debut

They really wanted to bring the kid along more slowly, but this team was sinking fast and had no choice.
That debut will be hard to live up to, but hopefully this kid is one of those special players that can transcend the usual inconsistency that might doom others in a similar position.

Im hoping. I have a feeling we will trying to be offloading some of the high paid veterans before the trade deadline to try and rebuild. We have to get some kind of value before those guys just call it quits.

He's not going to keep hitting like that, but he will be able to contribute defensively on a consistent basis. Seeing major league pitching should help him develop quicker and you figure by next year, he could be a pretty scary bat in that lineup. They've missed on so many prospects over the last decade or so and it's refreshing to see guys like Castro (and Colvin) come along.

Yeh Im excited about Colvin and Castro. Hopefully we can keep building off of this as far as having good prospects come in and contribute and be consistent bats in the line-up.

Poor Mike Fontenot got in the game late & hit a granny. Hopefully they move him to another team where he can get on the field more.
