Who are you taking? Be realistic.
I would take Texas, Texas A&M, UNC, FSU. Would also consider NC state.

I would rather LSU leave the conference and join the Big 12.

In the west, I'd take Texas and A&M. In the east, I'd take UNC & Duke.
The SEC basketball tourney would be incredible.

yeah no way UNC leaves the ACC because of basketball. Maybe replace them with georgia tech??

I would hate to see the SEC expand to 16 teams.

I would like to see them add Florida A&M, Southern U., Grambling, and Jackson St. Ya know to add a like flavor during the halftime festivities. They can leave their sports programs in 1AA or whatever it's called these days
Otherwise, I would like to see them add
East:
Miami
Georgia Tech
West:
Florida State
Texas A&M

The SEC will only expand if they can get Texas, and if they can get Texas the SEC will definitely expand.
I think this is the most logical proposal because none of the current teams would have to change divisions.

Clemson
FSU
West:
Texas
Texas A&M

Assuming the Gig Ten(+1) takes Nebraska, Mizzou, Syracuse, Pitt and Rutgers as expected if the conference expands to 16, it will pretty much Kill the Big XII.
The SEC would respond by taking Texas, A and M, Oklahoma and Ok State (since OK State is probably tied in with OU)and break up into four divisions, probably like this. Each School would have one main rival that they play every year and play the other teams not in there division in each others stadiums two out of every four years.
It would be similar to what this guy says BIG 16
and the divisions would probably look like this:
West
Texas
Texas A&M
Oklahoma
OK State
Southern
LSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss
MSU
East
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
USCe
Kinda east
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Vandy

The schedule inbalance would be too difficult to overcome and I think some of the traditional rivalries will go away.
I'm sorry but I miss that Oklahoma Nebraska game every year.

West you have to look at UT and A&M. I don't imagine the Aggies turning the SEC down. UT maybe, maybe not. If the balk, then I think you look at Baylor, TCU or Houston. I'd take those three ahead of TTech because of geography, and immediate market size.
the east.. UNC would be nice but I think first and foremost GT gets brought back to the SEC.. then its either UNC, FSU, Clemson, NC State or even Louisville.

The big XII is going to suck asses if they lose Nebraska and Missouri which sounds like it 's only a matter of time.
SEC could use:
Miami
FSU
Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech
Tulane
T A&M can stay where they are at. So can Texas.

Clemson and USCe are a big rivalry. Prob them and GT in the East. Louisville wouldn't surprise me either.
West is prob a package deal for TX & A&M or some smaller teams to get into TX like TCU & Rice
