I honestly think he would clock in at a 4.2 in the 40. He just darts past everyone with little effort.

If you are talking combine, he may run a 4.55

Jesus Christ. I see I need to get off the Fantasy Sports Board for awhile and come clean this place up.

hes a freak athlete, wouldnt be surprised at all if it was that low. He was one of the top recruits in high school as a receiver, your not that without some serious speed.....and being 6'8

I wonder if anyone in the world other than Donovan Bailey in the mid-90s, Usian Bolt, and Tyson Gay can run below 4.2 in the 40.

I also wonder if a single guy in the NBA could crack a 4.4.

I'm going with no on both counts.

barbosa, collison, paul, harris, beaubois (or whatever his name is) could do it

Okay, I may be a little drunk and a little biased. But as someone who watches every Cavs game I can, he sprints past some of the fastest NBA players like it's nothing. I know it's hard to judge a basketball player's speed because of the playing surface size, but god damn, when LeBron gets to a fulll sprint, it's fricking unreal.

yeah i have no doubt his 10 to 20 yard split would be great timed. I just don't think his 40 time would be that great.

See, I think the two fastest guys in the NBA are Devin Harris and Nate Robinson. And Robinson's basketball combine numbers destroy the second place guy's. His Rivals 40 time says 4.38, which is probably bullshite like everyone else's time on the site.

nate rob is a good one. i don't know if he could do it now b/c he's older

rondo, as mentioned earlier

i'm not guaranteeing each of these guys would break 4.50, but a few would for sure

i think harris isn't as fast as he was a few years ago...i think DC is faster. paul is faster

AI could have run a 4.4 in his heyday

Whatever his time is he's damned fast.

Ty Lawson should be on the list as well. He can get up and down the court.

It's hard to know how fast a lot of these guys are because most truly elite basketball recruits are playing all year round, unlike in football where most guys are also running track. Robinson was a pretty good college corner even a freshman and I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the 4.4 range
