Movies with big ensemble casts often have a lot of future notables. Case in point - 2001's Black Hawk Down. Here are some of the less-obvious examples:


Orlando Bloom, before LOTR and Pirates of the Carribean, played Todd Blackburn, the Ranger who fell from the Black Hawk while trying to fast-rope.


Inception's Tom Hardy, who played Twomley, one of the stranded SAW Gunners.


Modern Family's Ty Burrell, who played the Air Force Pararescue Guy dropped in to help the wounded crew of the first Black Hawk crash.

*No picture available* Ioan Gruffudd, aka Mr. Fantastic from the Fantastic Four movies, was the Ranger Lt. who suffered from seizures.


Richard Tyson, the bad guy from Kindergarten Cop


Carmine Giovinazzo, aka Danny Messer on CSI: NY


Brian Van Holt, aka Bobby on Cougar Town


Matthew Mardsen, recently seen in Rambo and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen


Steven Ford, former President Gerry Ford's son


Enrique Murciano, who went on to play Danny Taylor on Without a Trace


Glenn Morshower, best known for playing Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce on 24


Gregory Sporleder, who frequently plays a token villain on film (ex. the jerk Marine Force Recon Capt. in The Rock).
