Damn good burger. Gotta have a "FROSTY" root beer float. It's almost like a cross between a cream soda and a root beer. Fair prices also.

The food is great, I agree great prices.

MUST, MUST, MUST get a root beer. The mugs are icy, there's some slush in the root beer itself...amazing.

Frostop Thoughts

Good burgers, good "American fries", Probably the best root beer I have ever had.

In summation, frostop = the tits

The only downside is it looks kind of run down, but the kitchen always looks clean when I go.

Most underrated, under-publicized fast ffod place in town. Great burgers, greta french fries, great root beer, great shrimp sandwich. If this were still a chain around town, BK and McOverrated would be in trouble.

Love the one in LaPlace. But, they are only open till 6 on weeknights and are closed on Sundays. That definitely limits my visits there.

I used to go there 20 years ago (different location perhaps). Outstanding. Nothing like an ice-cold drink and a roast beef Frostop poboy.

I like their onion rings better than their fries--they're sliced thin and well-battered.

Burgers are good, frosty root beer in an icy mug is awesome.

I've never tried their po-boys, has anyone else?

Food is mediocre at best but the root beer and floats are solid.

Only bad thing about Frostop is that you smell just like the inside when you leave.

That's their marketing campaign.

1 guy from the office goes there for lunch, everyone smells it all afternoon and all 35 of them go for dinner.

That is a common characteristic of several of my favorite dives. The tops all-time was D'Fatburger in Westlake.
